Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Scienceandsowhat.com. This website is owned and operated by Excelior Lab LLC, located in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. In these Terms and Conditions, "Science and so what" and "Scienceandsowhat.com" are used interchangeably and refer to the same entity. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions ("Agreement") under which you may use our website, products, and services as offered by us. This Agreement takes effect as soon as you indicate your acceptance of these terms.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY.
IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 (OR THE AGE OF MAJORITY WHERE YOU LIVE), YOU MUST ASK YOUR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIAN TO READ AND ACCEPT THESE TERMS ON YOUR BEHALF.
1. Eligibility and Requirements
1.1 Age Requirement: Participants in our Summer Camp program must be 14 years of age or older.
1.2 Participant Abilities: All participants must be capable of independent self-care and able to participate in group activities without one-on-one assistance.
1.3 Terms of Use: To use our website and/or receive our products and services, you must be at least 18 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. If not, you represent and warrant that you have reviewed these Terms with your parents or legal guardian and that he or she has agreed to be bound by these Terms.
2. Summer Camp Program Overview
2.1 Activities: Our Summer Camp primarily consists of activities centered around playing educational board games and their digital versions. Students will engage in structured learning activities led by qualified instructors.
2.2 Health and Safety:

Food and drinks are not allowed in the classrooms.

All Summer Camp activities take place indoors.

Participants must adhere to all safety instructions provided by staff.
3. Camp Schedule and Operations
3.1 DROP-OFF & PICK-UP INFORMATION
For Morning Sessions:
-
Students can be dropped off from 8:50 AM at the school entrance.
-
Each session starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM.

Students can be picked up between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.
For Afternoon Sessions:
-
Students can be dropped off from 12:00 PM at the school entrance.
-
Each session starts at 1:00 PM and ends at 4:00 PM.

Students can be picked up between 4:00 PM and 4:15 PM at the latest.
3.2 Late Pick-Up Policy
-
A late pick-up fee of $25 is charged for each student for every fifteen minutes late or part thereof.

Payment for late pick-up is due within two days.
-
Repeated late pick-ups may jeopardize the student's enrollment in the program.

The official camp clock will determine the time.
3.3 Supervision
-
Students are supervised at all times during camp hours.
-
Supervision is not available before 8:50 AM or after 4.15 PM.

Parents/guardians are not permitted to attend the program with their child.
4. Registration, Pricing and Payment
4.1 Registration Process: When buying a Summer Camp registration ticket on Scienceandsowhat.com, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it; (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.
4.2 Pricing: The prices we charge for our products and services are listed on this website. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payment page.
4.3 Payment Methods: For each purchase, you represent that you are authorized to use the form of payment provided and that any payment information you provide is accurate. When you place an order through the “Science and so what” website, you authorize Excelior Lab LLC to charge your selected payment card or method in the total amount of your order (including any applicable taxes).
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellation by Participant:

Full refund available if cancelled 30+ days before camp start date
-
50% refund if cancelled 15-29 days before camp start date
-
No refunds for cancellations made 14 days or less before camp start date
5.2 Cancellation Procedure: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@immunitarium.com. Include your name, order number, and the session dates you wish to cancel.
5.3 Credits for Refunds: Credits for refunds will be applied to the payment method that was used for the order. If a credit card payment was used, the credit will be applied to the same credit card number that was used for the original order. Credits should appear within two billing cycles.
5.4 Right to Limit Refunds: Excelior Lab LLC reserves the right to limit or decline refunds or exchanges.
5.5 Force Majeure: If camp must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government orders), we will offer credit for a future session or a partial refund at our discretion.
6. Health and Medical Information
6.1 Medical Information: Parents/guardians must provide complete and accurate health information for their child before the start of camp, including allergies, medical conditions, and medications. The medical information must be submitted in writing to info@immunitarium.com.
6.2 Medications:

Camp staff cannot administer medications of any kind.

Students who require medication must be able to self-administer under staff supervision.

All medications must be in their original containers with clear instructions.

Emergency medications (such as asthma inhalers or epinephrine autoinjectors) must be non-expired and must remain with the student at all times.
6.3 Allergies: Food and drinks are strictly prohibited in all classrooms. Due to this policy, Excelior Lab LLC and its staff assume no responsibility for food-related allergic reactions during the program. However, as some individuals may have severe allergies to non-food items or environmental factors, parents/guardians must disclose all known allergies during registration. It is the sole responsibility of parents/guardians to determine if the program is suitable for their child considering any severe allergic conditions.
6.4 Emergency Treatment: In case of emergency, staff will contact emergency services and the parent/guardian. By agreeing to these terms, you authorize Excelior Lab LLC to arrange for emergency medical treatment if necessary.
7. Behavioral Expectations
7.1 Code of Conduct: All participants must:

Follow all camp rules and staff instructions

Use appropriate language and behavior

Participate in activities with a positive attitude

Refrain from disruptive behavior
7.2 Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited at camp:

Weapons of any kind

Illegal substances

Tobacco products and e-cigarettes

Alcohol
-
Inappropriate materials
7.3 Disciplinary Action: Behavior contrary to the code of conduct may result in:

Verbal warning

Parent/guardian notification
-
Temporary removal from activities
-
Dismissal from the program without refund
8. Special Needs and Accommodations
8.1 Disability Support: We strive to provide an inclusive environment. Parents/guardians should inform us of any physical, learning, behavioral, or psychological needs before registration so we can determine if reasonable accommodations can be made.
8.2 Limitations: We do not provide personal care attendants or one-on-one support. Students must exhibit independence and ability for self-care.
9. Personal Belongings
9.1 Electronic Devices: Participants are discouraged from bringing valuable electronic devices. If brought, their use may be restricted to specific times.
9.2 Liability for Lost Items: Excelior Lab LLC and its staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, including electronic devices.
10. Photography and Media
10.1 Media Release: By registering for the Summer Camp, you grant Excelior Lab LLC permission to take photographs or recordings of your child during camp activities and to use such media for promotional purposes unless you have specifically opted out in writing.
10.2 Opt-Out Option: Parents/guardians who do not wish their child to be photographed must submit a written request to info@immunitarium.com prior to the start of camp.
11. Privacy Policy

11.2 Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 Ownership: All materials provided during the Summer Camp, including games, digital content, worksheets, and other resources, are the intellectual property of Excelior Lab LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
12.2 Limited License: Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use these materials during the camp session. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of these materials is strictly prohibited without explicit written permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 Disclaimer of Warranties: THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS-IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. EXCELIOR LAB LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
13.2 Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EXCELIOR LAB LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Excelior Lab LLC, and their officers, employees, and agents harmless from and against any and all actions, claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, damages, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) made against us by you or any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the “Science and so what” website or your child's participation in the Summer Camp program.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these pages periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our Services after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
16. Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Montgomery County, Maryland.
